The Katherine housing situation continues to deteriorate as the Minister and the Department ignore pleas for reintroducing subsidised housing.
The phasing out of the teacher housing subsidy in Katherine is causing problems that will only get worse unless the Government and Department reverse the cuts to the scheme.
The Australian Education Union represents and advocates for all teaching staff in public education, as well as many support workers.
