Australian public school teachers are regularly forced to dip into their own pockets for basic supplies, and schools are reliant on fundraising to provide essentials such as teaching staff and computers, according to the latest AEU State of our Schools survey.
The Australian Education Union represents and advocates for all teaching staff in public education, as well as many support workers.
