Candidate statements for Branch Secretary election

Candidate statements for Branch Secretary election

An election is currently being conducted by the AEC to fill a casual vacancy for the position of Branch Secretary. Details of this position and the election process were provided to members in an earlier update.

All current financial members are both eligible to and encouraged to vote in this election, which closes on Thursday 22 June. Your ballot paper must have been recieved by the AEC by that date in order to be counted.

We have provided each candidate with the opportunity to produce 250 words in support of their candidacy. These statements are provided to you below and have been emailed to you as well.

Members in the Darwin area should have already received your ballot paper in the mail; for regional and remote members it should arrive by early next week. If you don't receive a ballot paper, that means either your membership is not currently financial or your postal address is not up-to-date. Contact the office ASAP to check your status as there may be time to issue a replacement ballot paper.
