The most urgent and shocking item on the agenda was the NT Government’s plans for a radical takeover of the Teacher Registration Board. If this dangerous legislation goes through, it would remove any requirement for teacher representation on the body that decides who is competent, fit and proper to teacher Territory children. 2026 Branch Conference
On August 14-15, over 60 of us met in Alice Springs for our annual Branch Conference, the supreme decision-making body of the AEU NT.
