We must do everything we can to resist this dangerous attack on our professional status – and do so quickly and in large numbers. We’re told this is about ‘efficiency’, ‘streamlining’ and ‘modernisation’. What it actually does is open up the Board to political interference and clear the path for the lowering of standards.
This is a threat to our profession. This is a threat to quality education. This is a threat to children’s safety.
