New Educators Conference 2023 - EOIs open!

Expressions of Interest Sought – New Educators Network Conference, Canberra ACT, 18 - 19 November 2023

Are you an early career educator and AEU NT member who would like the opportunity to meet up with peers to discuss professional issues and national union perspectives which matter to you?

The AEU New Educators Conference provides an opportunity to engage active new educator members (those in their first 5 years of teaching) and helps ensure the AEU successfully responds to the views and experiences of our new educator membership.

AEU NT delegates from the 2022 conference attest they “felt proud to represent the remote NT…and share…with those in other states and territories” and enjoyed “connecting with like-minded colleagues.”

Successful applicants’ airfares, accommodation and meals will be fully funded by the AEU NT. Teachers’ Health will fund the costs of one delegate attending who also is a financial member of Teachers’ Health. Relief teacher costs incurred by your school due to conference attendance (including necessary travel day/s) can be reimbursed by the AEU NT.
