Women's Officer election result

Women's Officer election result

On 16 April the AEC Returning Officer provided the Branch Secretary with a declaration of results for the election of a Women's Officer to our Branch Executive. The election was the result of insufficient nominations being received during the scheduled election timeframe in 2018.

Alyson Kavanagh was declared elected unopposed.

The AEC Returning Officer also provided the Branch with the post-election report for these elections. The report did not identify any rules that were difficult to interpret. The post-election report is attached below, or available to members of the Branch upon request. Publishing this notice is a requirement under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act.
