AEU NT Log of Claims: AEU NT General EA LoC – 2025
Public Sector unions (there are ten unions involved, including AEU NT) have been holding weekly meetings with the Public Service Commissioner’s representatives since mid-February 2025.
Thank you to those members that took the time to answer our Survey. Your results are helping us in the negotiations and demonstrate several issues our office will have to deal with collectively for you all.
AEU NT Branch Executive have finalised a Log of Claims based on Conference Policy and member feedback.
There a total of 260 claims from the employer and unions being considered. Work is progressing to produce “in-principal” agreement on many of the more straightforward matters.
The NT Governments Bargaining Policy which limits the total cost to an increase of 3% and that the Enterprise Agreement must not contain “restrictive work practices” will mean challenging discussions will follow as we approach the pay due date of 10 August.
