Katherine Regional Councillor election result

The electronic ballot for the Katherine Regional Councillor casual vacancy closed on Tuesday 22 May.

Rachel Jay from Katherine South Primary School was declared elected. Congratulations to Rachel, who will now guide the our union as the second representative for the Katherine region on Branch Executive.

We would like to recognise Ben Shanahan from Katherine High School for making this a contested ballot. Democracy is at the heart of our union.
