Territory teachers have been offered an agreement that freezes salaries for four years.
Our Full-Time Officers have just written to the Commissioner for Public Employment saying we will not endorse this offer to our Executive. Branch Executive will make a formal decision on this matter at our meeting on Friday 19 November.
We acknowledge that our office operates out of the traditional lands of the Larrakia people in Garramilla (Darwin) and acknowledge the many lands across the Territory upon which we all teach, work and learn. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
