The Fair Work Commission has awarded the AEU NT the right to conduct our Ballot on Protected Industrial Action. The Ballot opened this morning at 9am and will conclude on Thursday August 11th at midday.
This will be conducted by a third party online voting service called Vero Voting. You should have received an email from them if you are an active member working in a role covered by the Non-Contract Principals, Teachers and Assistant Teachers’ Enterprise Agreement.
We need every member to take part in this ballot, and strongly encourage members to vote YES to all six questions. This will give us the widest opportunity to take a range of different industrial actions. Please get your ballot in by the 11thof August to make sure your voice is heard! It’s crucial that you vote, and that you vote as soon as possible – for the Ballot to be valid, more than half of our members need to vote.

We will be conducting Members Meetings via Zoom in Week 3 and 4 to engage your thoughts and questions on the process.
