Fact Sheet: Enterprise Agreement Coverage
The Australian Education Union Northern Territory (AEU NT) represents educators and education support staff across a range of enterprise agreements. This fact sheet outlines which agreement applies to different groups of our members and the key coverage details.
1. NTPS EDUCATORS’ ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
Who is covered?
- Classroom Teachers (CT1–CT9 and Relief)
- Aboriginal Team Teachers (Known as Assistant Teachers until 2024)
- Senior Teachers (incuding Assistant Principals)
- Permanent Principals
2. NTPS GENERAL ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
Who is covered?
- VET Trainers and Assessors employed in NT government schools
- School-Based Administrative Employees (AO92, AO96)
- Classroom Support Staff (including Aboriginal and Islander Education Workers and Inclusion Support Assistants)
- School-based Facilities and Maintenance Staff
- Other non-teaching staff employed by the Department of Education and Training
3. CHARLES DARWIN UNIVERSITY (CDU) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
Who is covered?
- Lecturers and educational staff in CDU’s VET and higher education sectors
- Researchers and teaching professionals working within CDU’s educational programs
4. BATCHELOR INSTITUTE OF INDIGENOUS TERTIARY EDUCATION (BIITE) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
Who is covered?
- Academic and general staff employed by Batchelor Institute
- VET Lecturers and Trainers
- Research and Indigenous education support staff
