A casual vacancy election for the Branch Secretary position was recently concluded, with Adam Lampe elected. The AEC, which conducted the election, has published a post-election report. The report did not identify any rules that were difficult to interpret.
The Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 requires unions to publish a notice such as this one informing members that the post-election report has been published. A copy of the report is available from the Branch, or from the AEC, on the request of a member who was eligible to vote in the election.
