The Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 requires unions and their branches to prepare annual financial reports.
Once the financial report has been prepared and submitted to audit, it must be made available to members for at least 21 days before it is approved by the union’s Committee of Management (in the AEU NT’s case, our Branch Executive) and lodged with the Fair Work Commission.
