In unexpected news, the Northern Territory Government today released the long-overdue report on its review of the ‘effective enrolment’ funding formula, and committed to implementing all its recommendations. The report calls for a complete shift to funding based on enrolment rather than attendance – as is the practice in all other states and territories – over the next 2 to 5 years.
