Summary: An Enterprise Agreement (EA) is a form of collective bargaining by which employers, employee/s and unions as representatives of member employees can enforce and/or dispute pay, terms and conditions. Enterprise Bargaining is governed by law (Fair Work Act) and is the negotiation process to determine the pay, terms and conditions enshrined in an EA for a maximum of 4 years. The AEU NT is the sole union signatory to the Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Non-Contract Principals’ Enterprise Agreement and one of the union signatories to the General NTPS Enterprise Agreement.
