Record of AEU NT Branch Conference Decisions

This page provides the official record of Conference Decisions of the AEU NT Branch from 2021 to 2025.

Items brought to Conference begin as motions from Sub-Branches, Conference Delegates and Branch Executive. Through debate and amendment, they are either carried or not carried. Once carried, they become decisions of the Branch. This archive includes only those decisions endorsed by Conference. Any motions that were withdrawn, subsumed, lost or otherwise not carried do not appear in these documents.

Conference is the supreme governing body of the Branch. Its decisions set policy and strategy for the union and, where required, alter the Branch Rules. Members, sub-branches and officers use these documents as a reference point to confirm existing policy and guide new proposals.

To use this archive, select the year you need and download the relevant PDF. Decisions are listed in the order they were endorsed. Rule changes are identified separately where they apply.

Rule changes only take effect once certified by the Fair Work Commission. Policy decisions are binding on the Branch, and their implementation is managed by Branch Executive within legal and resource constraints. The PDFs are published as adopted by Conference, with only limited redactions where required by law or privacy obligations. Details of movers, seconders and originating sub-branches have been omitted, as once endorsed the matters cease to be proposals of individual members or sub-branches and stand as the policy of the Branch as a whole.
